Why did you become a pharmacy technician?
I love working in hospital settings, perhaps because many of my relatives are involved in healthcare. I know I can efficiently handle multiple tasks.
How long have you been practicing?
Almost 24 years, starting in outpatient pharmacy, then inpatient pharmacy, and finally chemotherapy in the hospital.
What are you most proud of in your professional career?
My attention to detail: focus and accuracy.
What is your most memorable experience as a pharmacy technician?
When I was first hired in a hospital setting, I immediately called my wife. I was so excited to share the good news with her.
Why did you become certified?
To enhance my knowledge and skills in IV and chemotherapy preparation.
What career advice do you have for others interested in becoming a Pharmacy Technician?
Working as a pharmacy technician can be stressful at times, but it can also be rewarding and enjoyable.
