Why did you become a pharmacy technician?
I was looking for a career where I could make a difference in the lives of patients. I had a passion for healthcare and felt that a pharmacy technician role would allow me to use that passion in the care of the patient.

I’m most proud of becoming an advocate for pharmacy technicians.
What is your most memorable experience as a pharmacy technician?
Going to the Pennsylvania state capital and advocating for pharmacy technicians to become registered with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy was a great experience.
Why did you become certified?
I became certified to advance my career and to advocate to others the importance and value certification has in developing their career.
What career advice do you have for others interested in becoming a Pharmacy Technician?
My advice would be to talk to a variety of pharmacy technicians. Investigate the many areas in which a pharmacy technician can work and the career advancements that are available to them.
