Why I do what I do
As a medication history technician, I am tasked with interviewing patients to get a full account of their medication use prior to their hospital admission. With available resources, we work to verify prescription fills, any medication allergies, and dosage information.
Most Memorable Experience as a Pharmacy Technician
My most memorable moments are the times that I was able to help a patient find a copay card or copay assistance to decrease the price of their expensive medication.
Why I Became Certified
I became certified to be sure that I had the knowledge and access to the tools to complete my job successfully and in a personally fulfilling way.
My Passion Outside of Work or Hobbies
My passion outside of work includes my husband, our corgi Walter, and my commitment to volunteerism. My hobbies include record collecting, reading, and amateur photography.
