Why did you become a pharmacy technician?
Before I became a pharmacy technician, my plan was to become a pediatrician. When I went to college to become a pediatrician, I failed the science and math classes. Being a pharmacy technician was never the plan. The jobs I was working at were not making me happy. I was making money so I could pay my bills and other things. I went from a pharmacy fulfillment specialist to a pharmacy technician. I'm very happy and proud that I did just that.

What are you most proud of in your professional career?
Going from a warehouse worker to a food and drink cashier, to a pharmacy fulfillment specialist, to a pharmacy technician.
What is your most memorable experience as a pharmacy technician?
When I was working at the Walgreens fulfillment Center in Tolleson, Arizona.
What career advice do you have for others interested in becoming a Pharmacy Technician?
Be yourself, keep practicing so you won't make many mistakes, and ask for help when needed.
