I wanted to challenge myself and work in a new field.

Being able to provide care and assistance to critically ill pediatric patients.
What is your most memorable experience as a pharmacy technician?
Meeting several pharmacy technicians at my job who became very close friends and remain some of my closest friends to this day.
Why did you become certified?
I became nationally certified so I could work in Texas, as I initially worked in Oklahoma.
What career advice do you have for others interested in becoming a Pharmacy Technician?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions when you don’t understand something. Asking questions will help you learn and grow as a pharmacy technician.
