Why did you become a pharmacy technician?
I was a cashier in high school at a store with a pharmacy. I admired the pharmacist and was interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, so it was a natural opportunity to learn more.

My education and career journey have taken me through many different areas of pharmacy and healthcare since becoming a pharmacy technician.
What is your most memorable experience as a pharmacy technician?
Considering pharmacy school but ultimately choosing to move into patient care within a health system.

Encouragement from my boss and a pay raise.
What career advice do you have for others interested in becoming a Pharmacy Technician?
Being a pharmacy technician is so much more than counting pills at a community pharmacy. The skills can take you anywhere if you open your mind and work hard. Network and learn about different roles.
