Statement of Philosophy
My philosophy of leadership is rooted in service, collaboration, and helping others grow. Throughout my career in pharmacy operations and healthcare leadership, I have seen firsthand how essential pharmacy technicians are to patient care and the success of healthcare teams. Pharmacy technicians do far more than support daily operations — they help improve patient safety, efficiency, and access to care. I believe the profession should continue to evolve through stronger advocacy, education, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. As healthcare continues to change, I would like to see The Pharmacy Technician Society focus on elevating the profession by supporting technician development, expanding leadership pathways, and encouraging continued education and certification. I also believe it is important to create opportunities for technicians from all practice settings to have a voice in shaping the future of pharmacy practice. My commitment to service comes from a genuine passion for giving back to a profession that has shaped my career and personal growth. I would bring operational leadership experience, collaboration, and a thoughtful approach to the mission and governance of TPTS. I value transparency, accountability, and listening to the experiences of others in order to make informed and meaningful decisions. Serving on the board would be an opportunity to support pharmacy technicians, contribute to the continued growth of the profession, and help create a lasting impact for future generations entering the field.
