Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes an individual pharmacy technician for consistent and active involvement and leadership in TPTS.
Nominations are accepted annually from January 1 to March 1.
Eligibility Criteria
Nominees must support the profession as evidenced by a record of consistent and active involvement and leadership in TPTS. Some examples of activities in which a nominee may have participated are follows:
- Served as an appointed member of a TPTS committee and/or ASHP advisory group, council, or commission; or
- A sustained volunteer leader in other significant TPTS and/or ASHP activities and programs.
- Must have demonstrated a sustained contribution to TPTS; and
- Must have demonstrated contribution to the vision and mission of TPTS.
Nominees must be a current TPTS member.
Exclusion Criteria
Current members of the TPTS Board of Directors and TPTS staff are not eligible.
Award Information
- An inscribed award.
- A complimentary registration for the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.
- Recognition during the Distinguished Service Award reception at ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.
