Statement of Philosophy
My professional philosophy is rooted in leadership through service, continuous growth, mentorship, and strong advocacy—principles that align closely with TPTS’s mission to advance the pharmacy technician profession through leadership, education, and collaboration. I believe pharmacy technicians are vital to delivering safe, effective healthcare, and it is our responsibility to create environments where they are empowered, supported, and recognized for their contributions. I am committed to fostering a lifelong learning and innovation culture, mirroring TPTS’s vision of elevating pharmacy technicians to be fully integrated and essential healthcare team members. From my perspective, growth comes not only from formal education but through mentorship, shared experiences, and a willingness to embrace change. I am passionate about mentoring pharmacy technicians, helping them see their potential, providing career development support, and preparing them to lead and innovate within their workplaces. Advocacy is also central to my philosophy. In line with TPTS’s strategic goals, I will work to advance pharmacy technicians' visibility, value, and voice nationally, including driving standardized practice models, professional advancement opportunities, pharmacy technician state board appointments, and more. Through purposeful leadership, strategic action, and a strong commitment to mentorship and advocacy, I am dedicated to supporting the TPTS mission and helping shape a stronger, more unified future for pharmacy technicians.
