Troy A. Cox, BS, CPhT, is a senior pharmacy instructor for the United States Army at the Medical Education and Training Campus at Fort Sam Houston in Texas. He joined the U.S. Army in 2001 as a pharmacy technician.    

Troy has over 23 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in the Army. He received the Army Superior Unit Award in 2003, Meritorious Unit Citation in 2011, Army Achievement Medal in 2012, Army Commendation Medal in 2013, the Armed Forces Service Medal in 2021, and the Meritorious Service Medal in 2021.  

Troy received his BS in business administration in 2020 from Fayetteville State University in North Carolina.
